Blood Shard

Welcome to Reddit,

Are blood shards only useful for gambling

I was looking for the point roughly where its cheaper to use one recipe over the other. He's asking about the upgrade rare vs reroll legendary cube recipes, so blood shards aren't relevant. While doing those runs: Some categories that will give you item you want an hour, but others not so much. I imagine rifts or grifts might have higher DBs. Or t7 build that can use Sage's set is probably the best use of time.

This highlights how ridiculous it was that weapons cost 75 shards and were also completely random type and impossible to target a single weapon. Maybe they will finally realize how dumb that blood shard cost for weapons is and change something next patch in light of it being order of magnitudes easier to use DB's and nobody will ever use a blood shard on a weapon ever again. I do not get it, might be I can't view it right on mobile.

Let's I want a belt of transendence 6, something bloodshard en DB's. What method is the best? So cap bloodshards, spend all on belts - roll some of the rares from kadala into the cube.

I noticed nobody really answered this, but you'll get shards significantly faster than DBs. That's about runs for the DBs vs about 20 runs for the shards. The shards are pretty clearly faster, but there are 2 more reasons why you would want to NOT use DBs for the belt:.

DBs are more of a pain to farm: Even if DBs were less of a pain AND if it took the same amount of time to farm the DBs for your belt as it would to farm enough shards for your belt, you STILL wouldn't want to use them for the belt, because of the opportunity cost. Because we have the Tal's ammy? Tals and moonlight ward are wiz specific, makes the total pool of amulets larger than other classes. This is awesome, any chance you could freeze the header rows so they are easier to follow when you scroll down? The classes and item types. Instructions if you're unfamiliar here: Sorry, the published version of the spreadsheet doesn't appear to respect freezing.

Give the cost disparity, you're definitely going to want to use upgrading instead of gambling to get a Furnace. And if you're just planning to cube it, yes doing it on a Witch Doctor will be your best bet. Schaefer's Hammer can't drop for them, so they have a higher chance for an upgraded rare 2H mace to become a Furnace. Can we upgrade follower items, like the templar relic?

I'm wondering if it'd be more cost effective to upgrade rare relics instead of using all those resources to reroll a legendary relic. But since they're not on your spreadsheet, I don't know if that's an option: Anyway, he also opened up a cache.

A bunch of items spilled onto the floor and a single blood shard dropped. It was a purple item. When he went to spend them, there was another currency next to his gold. He had million gold, and 45 blood shards. The vendor had items that cost 5 blood shards. The items were white colored and the names were like "??? I only spent a few hours last night playing around with the beta, but there were two vendors in the Act V safe haven from whom you could purchase items.

One vendor sells an item for every slot. There is no middle ground; there is only amazing or terrible.
