Paragon Casino Rv Park

The RV office is immediately to your right. But would go back for sure. TripAdvisor LLC is not responsible for content on external web sites. I advise avoiding weekends when the crowds rule: I still see no recycling.

Starts Friday, October 5

Dream Pool Open!

Cable tv is all analog channels. Shuttle buses to the casino run through the park several times an hour. Our rate reflects a Passport America discount. The park is directly behind Paragon Casino Resort. Several excellent restaurants are available at the casino, or you can eat in Marksville.

The park cable TV and WiFi were excellent. There was work going on at the bathroom, so we used our facilities in the motorhome. We didn't use the pools due to the cool weather. We drove over to St. Francisville to visit the Myrtles plantation, the most haunted plantation in the United States.

The drive took a little over an hour. There isn't much to do in Marksville, so just keep yourself entertained in the casino like we did. While this park still has very good facilities FHU, large cement pads and patios, level sites. Speeding vehicles including kids driving golf carts and very nasty customers continue to be ignored by management.

They would rather keep dangerous customers I have been here when there was a stabbing at the pool and a mugging in the parking lot than protect the good ones. From casino with five restaurants, 3 movie theaters and shopping to hiking their boardwalk trail, place was great!!

Decided to stay another day since we were having so much fun. Would have gave it a ten but pool was being repaired. Said we could use resort pool but it should be posted on their website as it was a little disappointing. But would go back for sure. Shuttle to and from was very nice since we did not have a tow car.

The rate shown is based on free nights, PPA, and Good Sam over the course of our usual early and late multiple day stays in May. This is an RV park, not a campground. It has great facilities large, FHU sites with concrete pads and patios and amenities decent Wi-Fi, good cable TV, a large pool and sprinkler area, playground, adjacent golf course, etc.

This park should be an 8 or 9 except for the safety issues. I advise avoiding weekends when the crowds rule: Management continues to ignores all this dangerous behavior. They don't do anything until it is too late. Typical for the region, there is no recycling. I did not camp here - I parked in an RV site. Clean and friendly campground Smoking is allowed in the Casino and the restaurant, what a shame. I can't believe in this day and age that smoking is allowed any where Noise, loud music, campers driving thru the park on their golf carts with huge speakers and booming music.

Roads to this campground were confusing Stay on the main roads in this State. To gain entry to the park, turn onto Slim Lemoine Road, drive past the side of the casino; at the stop sign, turn left. The RV office is immediately to your right. The majority of the sites within the park are long, concrete pull-throughs off of concrete roads. Around the perimeter of the park are back-in sites and rental cabins.

Grass strips with trees divide the sites from neighbors. A concrete picnic table with two benches complete the site. There is also a wonderful, boardwalk nature trail adjacent to the RV park and casino. If you decide to go to the Paragon casino, make sure you visit the hotel lobby with its mini-bayou containing baby and adult alligators! We stayed here 2 nights. Concrete pads, utilities worked great. WIFI was good until evening when more people were using it.

We were in site and it was very level. Easy to get satellite coverage. We'd definitely stay here again. There isn't much to do around Marksville, so can't imagine staying here for more than a night or 2. The Park was very clean with all concrete roads and pads. We were there with 14 other couples. This is a good value for a pretty standard RV resort.

It gets busy on the weekends, but empties out during the week. Most people are probably there for the casino. My only complaint is the restrooms could have used 2 cleanings a day on weekends instead of just the usual one. I would stay here again. The casino is an easy walk from the RV park. In addition to the usual games there is an arcade, a movie theater, and several dining options.

There are also displays and programs highlighting the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe, which owns and runs the resort. We ate at the Legends Steakhouse in the casino and had a wonderful meal to celebrate my wife's birthday. As we were just passing through, didn't spend any time in the community.
