Is a disk basic or dynamic? MBR or GPT?
I select the small volume MB but when I try to delete it, cmd crashes and restarts The other volume is GB and it is ntfs. I have a problem, I can't delete volume in Option 2 Step 7. Sorry this didn't help. OS Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit.

OS Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit. This will show you how to convert a basic disk to a dynamic, also known as "software RAID", disk in Windows Disk Manager or in a command prompt without losing anything on the disk.
By default Windows uses Tutorials Convert dynamic disk to basic disk without os - help please i was restoring my windows 7 hp computer using a usb bootable disk. But all partitions of my disk are dynamic. I went through the tutorial in the help section but few questions are not clear. I have downloaded partition wizard as well. As shown in the disk layout, there are 9 partitions on Disk I need to install Linux not on a virtual machine so I have to convert the disk from dynamic to basic.
The problem is that all methods require that I delete all volumes and re install Windows. It downloaded, burned fined and I went to make a new partition, and this is where things went south for me.
